Field Service Technician's and Technical Support Specialists.
Field Service Technician – Installation and service of wireless internet and Dish Network satellite equipment at customer premises and towers. Must be self directed, organized, methodical, a team player, have people skills, computer skills and not be afraid of heights. Construction experience a plus.
Technical Support Specialists – Courteously field incoming help requests from end users. Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, contact information, and nature of problem or issue. Build rapport and patiently elicit problem details from help desk customers. Record, track, and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to the final resolution. Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting. Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution. Escalate and schedule unresolved issues to upper tier specialist or field service technician. Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization. Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications. Test fixes to ensure problem has been adequately resolved. Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests. Develop help sheets and knowledge base articles for inter office and end users. Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position. Web development experience is also a plus.

Memorial Day Weekend Hours

Ongoing Breckenridge Issues (10/28/2009)
Some wireless customers in Breckenridge and the surrounding area are experiencing signal issues due to interference from radio equipment that the Village of Breckenridge has installed at their water tower. We are working with the Village to try to resolve this issue as soon as possible, and we will be installing a new antenna array on our Breckenridge tower to be able to offer service on an alternate frequency to customers with line of sight to the tower.
Rosebush Downtime (7/1/2009)
Consumers Energy will be performing work today in Delwin which will affect the ability of our customers in Rosebush to get online. This work is expected to last only one hour, and during this time customers will be able to use their dial-up backup service until the outage restores. We apologize for the inconvenience and will do everything we can to ensure this outage lasts as short as possible.
Wireless Network Downtime (6/24/2009 at 11:59pm to 6:00am)
Work will be performed this evening on our network backbone in order to help improve the reliability and stability of our network. However, due to this maintenance, our wireless internet service will be down from midnight to 6am on 6/25/2009. Wireless users are still able to use our wireless dial-up backup service during this time, which is a free service of ISP Management. We apologize for the down time and will do everything in our power to ensure that the outage is as short as possible.
Elwell Maintenance Downtime (1/28/2009)
We will be performing maintenance on our Elwell tower this evening to work towards improved speeds for all customers in that area. Maintenance will occur between 8pm and 9pm, with expected downtime for this outage is less than 5 minutes.
Holiday Hours (12/24-26)
Our offices will be closed in observation of the Christmas Holiday after 12 noon on Wednesday December 24th through Monday December 29th at 8am.
We will also be closed for the New Years Holiday from 3pm Wednesday December 31st through Monday January 5th.
On call support will be available both weekends on Saturday from 8am to 4pm, with callbacks at noon and 4pm for basic troubleshooting, with higher level support available again on Monday.

AVG 7.5 and 8.0 Alert!
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: AVG 7.5 and 8.0 are both incorrectly alerting some customers that user32.dll is a virus. While you may see a recommendation to delete this file, DO NOT delete the file. Please update your AVG program immediately to the newest update definitions and it will correct this issue.
Deleting user32.dll will cause your system to become unbootable and will require in shop computer repair.
Mailed Statements Fee Change (Effective 8/15/2008)
Starting on April 15th of 2008, the fee for statements mailed in paper format via U.S. mail will change to $2.00 per statement. For those wishing to save extra money on the cost of their internet service with ISP Management, you may elect to have your statements sent to you via email or sign up for our automatic payment plans (via credit card or automatic withdrawl from your checking account). You may also elect to pre-pay for your service at our office, located at 409 Gratiot Ave, Alma, MI.

Network Maintenance - Friday (7/18/2008)
We will be performing maintenance and upgrades on our network this Friday in order to maintain reliability and re-locate equipment to new facilities. As a result, wireless customers will experience a brief outage, expected to last less than 1 hour, and dial-up customers will experience some minor downtime that we do not expect to exceed 4 hours.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; however, the downtime is necessary for us to improve the overall reliability of our network and better service you as customers.
Latest Windows Update Can Cause Issues With Your Firewall
The latest Windows Update may potentially cause issues with your firewall software due to a change in the way Windows handles DNS requests. If you are running firewall software such as Zone Alarm, McAfee or Norton, please take caution in applying the latest update. Should you find you experience trouble accessing the internet after the update is applied, disable your firewall software and contact either your software vendor or our technical support department (at 877-466-6104) for assistance.
